A HOLISTIC VISION OF WELL-BEING
L’appuntamento vuole portare all’attenzione importanti riflessioni in merito allo stare bene, oggi più che mai messo a dura prova da una continua instabilità finanziaria, emotiva e valoriale. Negli ultimi anni emerge un fortissimo desiderio di serenità volto ad aprire gli occhi su abitudini che non rappresentano più la società odierna, legata ormai a un nuovo concetto di benessere, ovvero il “consumo di tempo”.
Istituzioni, esperti di wellbeing, nonché grandi organizzazioni, affronteranno tutte le sfaccettature del benessere, con un approccio che risponda alla necessità di flessibilità e che incontri e semplifichi tutte le abitudini di vita con un’attenzione particolare ai valori dello Sport, il terzo attore educativo dopo la famiglia e la scuola, protagonista in questa 6° edizione di Well@Work.

L’organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità (OMS) raccomanda 150 minuti di attività fisica al giorno. I decisori politici, le imprese e le comunità dovrebbero creare maggiori opportunità e fare investimenti migliori per facilitare le scelte sane. Lo sport può e deve svolgere un ruolo sempre più incisivo, utile, educativo ed efficace nell’ottica della prevenzione, prima ancora che di cura. Necessaria e indispensabile è la divulgazione dei valori sportivi e delle conseguenze di uno stile di vita sano per contrastare forme di malessere ad ogni età.

Secondo Haleon Pain Index il 90% degli italiani è colpito da forme di dolore e metà lo vive in solitudine. Come società abbiamo il dovere di ridurre l’impatto sociale ed emotivo del dolore spostando il focus sulla sua gestione. Riconoscere un disagio è il primo passo per affrontarlo e trasformare una situazione di discomfort in una sfida e imparare qualcosa.
Il discomfort può essere un catalizzatore per il miglioramento personale, diventando un limite solo se viene evitato anziché affrontato con coraggio e intenzione di crescita.
